Fundraiser City.comFundraiser is (Image 1, Image 2, Image 3) a personalized fundraiser for not-for-profit organizations and a personalized cash-back site for individuals. When a consumer buys a product from one of the retailers within the fundraising or cash-back website, the website "owner" gets paid a percentage of the purchase price by the relevant retailer. During its two years in operation, Fundraiser City experienced average monthly increases in visitors of 50%, in page views of 55%, and in revenues of 80%. Fundraiser City partnered with over 800 affiliate partners including Land's End, Amazon, eBay, Sears, Baby Center, Circuit City, Macy's, Office Depot, Dell, Wal-Mart, Adidas, Armani Exchange, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Blockbuster, and Target as well as partnered with over 100 Not-for-Profit companies including the American Red Cross, Project Hope, Outward Bound, Goodwill, Gifts in Kind, NPR, American Stroke Association, Twin Towers Orphan Fund, and the YWCA. We created the technology, logistics, and operations systems to facilitate all operational activities as well as numerous initiatives to make the site more consumer-centric including creating numerous sub-sites to more effectively target and fulfill the needs of unique consumer segments. This includes creating My Wedding Gift for brides and My Baby Gift for new mothers.
